Ingredients:

  • 200g spaghetti
  • 100g cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 50g fresh basil leaves
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 30ml olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 50g grated Parmesan cheese

Kitchen Tools Needed:

  • Large pot
  • Colander
  • Frying pan
  • Wooden spoon
  • Grater

Instructions:

  • Boil a pot of salted water and cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes.
  • While the spaghetti is cooking, heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Add halved cherry tomatoes to the pan and cook for another 3-4 minutes until they start to soften.
  • Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  • Once the spaghetti is cooked, drain it and add it to the pan with the tomato mixture.
  • Toss everything together, adding fresh basil leaves and grated Parmesan cheese.
  • Serve immediately, garnished with extra basil and cheese if desired.
