Ingredients:
- 200g spaghetti
- 100g cherry tomatoes, halved
- 50g fresh basil leaves
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 30ml olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 50g grated Parmesan cheese
Kitchen Tools Needed:
- Large pot
- Colander
- Frying pan
- Wooden spoon
- Grater
Instructions:
- Boil a pot of salted water and cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes.
- While the spaghetti is cooking, heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add halved cherry tomatoes to the pan and cook for another 3-4 minutes until they start to soften.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Once the spaghetti is cooked, drain it and add it to the pan with the tomato mixture.
- Toss everything together, adding fresh basil leaves and grated Parmesan cheese.
- Serve immediately, garnished with extra basil and cheese if desired.
